AI Sandwich Communication in Pitching

It's actually easy to spot this kind of pitch at one glimpse. Here are the sandwich ingredients:
- Signal: there's something that the sender noticed on your social media profile, your company's blog, etc. It could be that your company raised, that you retweeted something that your company does, there was a blog post announcing a partnership, and so on. The list is endless.
- Pitch: let me tell you what your company needs - my product. And, please, do realize that, if your company doesn't know my product is essential for it, I know that you will eventually realize this because you are my ICP.
- CTA: Worth X number of minutes? Worth a call? Worth a chat? There are more than a few variations.
Here's an intentionally exaggerated variation of an AI sandwich sales pitch in action:
Hi $name,
I noticed that your neighbour's hairdresser's name is actually the same as my cousin's. Small world!
By the way, your company needs my product, especially features 1 and 2. My company delivers that out-of-the-box, and it's ready to use in 10 minutes, no vendor lock-in, built for regulated platforms.
Already used by teams shipping products like yours. Worth 15 minutes?
Yes, AI does help us with the research part, but let's add some human touch to the outreach and sequences 🙏
