Thrilled to announce that Steelbridge GTM is now providing services for Kagi.com.
I'm a big believer in Kagi's mission, and I've been a fan for a while now, long before this became a working relationship. I also know quite a few people on the Kagi team and have worked with them before, so this feels less like starting something new and more like reuniting with people I respect.
Becoming a dad changed how I think about our digital space. The importance of safe web browsing grows every year as kids get older and start exploring the internet on their own. Ads are everywhere, and our attention is being pulled and shaped from every direction, every single day. The least we can do is give our best effort to protect our kids, and ourselves, from that.
We're not at Fifteen Million Merits levels yet - the Black Mirror episode where ads are unskippable and unavoidable - but we're slowly drifting in that direction.
Safe browsing also matters more than ever because scammers are getting more sophisticated by the day. One of the most horrifying examples I've seen recently: a person lost their life savings to scammers who paid top dollar to put their fraudulent ad at the top of Google search results. That's not a hypothetical risk, it's what's happening right now to real people. Something like this would have never happened had that person been using Kagi instead of Google search. Kagi makes these types of scammers powerless.
Looking forward to making the web a safer place for families and to devoting my time to putting the technology back into the service of humanity.
