Daily Conversations

I counted yesterday, and out of ~20 work conversations I had, one was with a prospect, and two were with my colleagues. The rest - all with my agents 🙃

To me, the shift is bigger than the tools. Indeed, the number of agents in my toolbox keeps rising while the number of external apps I open keeps decreasing. But it's even more that the agents do the work I used to do on my own - in-depth research, business reviews, prototypes, decks, automations, and the list goes on and on.

Nevertheless, every AI output I receive, I view it as a scaffold and a starting point because I've been burned more than a couple of times by AI hallucinations. But anyway, for all the initial work and heavy lifting, I'm no longer needed.

What's left for me is the things agents can't do yet - calls with customers and prospects, pricing decisions, hires, hard conversations, product pivots, partnership convos, etc.

The work didn't get easier; it's just that the shape of it changed. I'm actually not sure how I feel about it and if it's a good or a bad thing, but it's the reality we currently live in.
